A good social media plan should always be centered on goals, which are achieved through strategies or tactics. The chart below of a "Final Mapped Social Media Strategic Plan" is from WOW Consulting (a U.K. based firm with a fabulous blog).

Ignite Social Media provides several short case studies about a few select clients. Each one is short, but states the marketing goal, what Ignite Social Media did to achieve the goal, and how the numbers played out.
