Submit assignments via URL.

Public Canvas content, such as assignments, modules and quizzes.

Create three calendar events created for the school year. Examples could be upcoming field trips, school breaks, or exam times. For Administrators, examples could be events could be professional development opportunities and workshops.

Create at least three announcements for your course.

Create a homepage for a Canvas course. 

Have at least two modules created for pages and assignments. You could have modules named Week 1 and Week 2 or “ABC topic” and “XYZ topic” or as appropriate.

Create a page with each unit’s information. Include the Unit Name and an Overview of the unit. This information should include your course objectives and standards (SWBAT – Students Will Be Able To. Place this information on the first page of each module so it is the first thing seen by students for the module.

Use Canvas to create a discussion board for your students.

Create at least 2 quizzes/surveys for assessing student learning or gathering student opinion.  Place them in one of your modules.  You will not get full credit if they are not in a module.

Upload at least 2 recorded media items to your Canvas course.

Place ten items like pages or assignments in the two modules. Refer to the layout of the 2COOL/LMS course.  If you include all the necessary components that follow you will automatically satisfy this requirement.

Include at least 3 Web-Based resources such as articles or original texts.  These can be on a page in the module or a link in the module. You will not get full credit if they are not in a module.

Add at least 2 interactive assignments. Examples include collaborations, Google Hangouts On Air, chats, and conferences, Quizlets, and Kahn Academy.

Have at least three items with CC 4.0 licensing. This includes Kahn Academy, YouTube, Quizlet, etc.
