Using the Engineering Design Process, students will research,design, build, test, and evaluate one of three vehicle options: balloon powered vehicle, mouse-trap vehicle, hover racer.  ******This now amended to be: create any

type of vehicle through household items on hand.     

Students will work together to complete the following:(work alone at home)

Multimedia Presentation with each step documented

       -include images or video of your team working and completed product. 

       -create an excel spreadsheet or other chart to document trials ( 5 required)

       - conduct 5 trials to determine  distance, time, and speed(velocity) V=D/T

                   Be sure to determine average ( just as in our Airplane Challenge)

                    - include a bibliography page (resources and url's)

                   - for evaluation/improvement---- compare and contrast your vehicle to one other in  the class.

                   - be sure to copy and paste the grading rubric into your presentation ( bibliography  page)   ***** rubric will  be uploaded here when generated by students*****
