Unit 4: Applied Electronics and Mechanics

Demonstrate proper safety procedures in a laboratory setting for the Electronics and Mechanics Project.

 

2.

Apply the NASA BEST engineering design process to the Electronics and Mechanics Project.

 

3.

Demonstrate problem solving and teamwork skills by completing a complex challenge (Electronics & Mechanics Project).

 

4.

As part of the Electronics and Mechanics Project, create models to explore mechanics and its applications.

 

5.

Engage with STEM industry and business professionals.

 

 

 

Unit 5: Capstone

 

1.

Demonstrate proper safety procedures in a laboratory setting for the project.

 

2.

Where appropriate, implement the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Beginning Engineering, Science and Technology (BEST) engineering design process to the project.

 

3.

As part of the student portfolio, display workforce readiness elements.
