Collect Form Responses

Google docs collects the responses for you.

They appear on a spreadsheet which you can see at any time. Open your form from Google docs and the spreadsheet will show any responses that have been collected. The graphic below shows what a form looks like in list on your Drive. Clicking on the link takes you to the Responses for your form which is in a spreadsheet.

It is NOT a good idea to revise the spreadsheet directly. Adding columns or rows can be bad. Moving data from one row to another is a bad idea.

However, typing in cells within the spreadsheet or in empty cells to the right is OK.

It is a splendid idea to leave the spreadsheet alone while you are collecting responses.

From the spreadsheet, under Form, you can choose "Go to live form" if you wish to look at the form from there. Notice you have several other choices in that menu.

When viewing the Form, you can View Responses under Responses - "View Responses." This takes you to the spreadsheet.
