WELCOME TO STEM METHODS 101.

 

This course will be for 8 weeks starting on May 1, 2019 and will end on June 26,2019 and can completed at your own pace. Email me at nsistrunk@neshobacentral.com with any questions or concerns.

Welcome to Stem Methods 101. This is an 8 week course that can completed at your pace over the next 8 weeks. In this course you must be disciplined to do get your work done within the 8 weeks.  Students must have a 70% pass rate to complete course and receive credit. I'm so happy that you choose this course so lets dive right into it and get started. Best of luck and if I can help in anyway don't hesitate to email me at nsistrunk@neshobacentral.com. This course in broke down into 4 Modules, each Module is set for 2 weeks, but can be completed at your pace. All assignments will be released at the start of the course on May 1, 2019. 

 

Module 1: Computer Safety

 

Module 2: Basics of the Computer

 

Module 3: Purpose of Technology with Computers

 

Module 4: Integrated Technology

Major Assignments: Descriptions

Students will be tested on overall knowledge of computer uses and information.

Class Participation

Students must respond to each discussion question and respond to two other students posts.

 

Course Grades

Paper/Exam 1: 25 % of total grade or maximum points

Paper/Exam 2: 25% of total grade or maximum points

Paper/Exam 3: 25% of total grade or maximum points

Paper/Exam 4: 25% of total grade or maximum points

OR

Exams = 50 points

Homework = 15 points

Class Participation = 35 points

 

Grade Cutoffs

90% A

80% B

70% C
