Course Description:
This year in Computer Science we will be learning a lot of information including how to design build and program your own robot that will compete in a final sumo/death match against other robots built by your classmates. We are in for an exiting year. We will explore robotics in many different ways. We will begin the year learning basic programing using Khan Academy. Please go ahead and sign up for an account if you have not yet. Sign in using your Google Class room Username and Password. After that we will be exploring Artificial Intelligence. We will discuss Dr. Turing and his test to determine the thinking ability of an A.I.. Together we will administer these test to Cortana, Siri, and Alexa to see what level each are presently at. Later we will discuss the good the bad and the ugly side of A.I. as we watch Terminator, and Mother two examples of possible outcomes. We will see what ya`ll think is in the future.

Policy for Academic Honesty: It better be your work or you get a 0. Honesty is the best policy.
Attendance: I will call role everyday.
Missed Assignment Policy: On time or 0.
Evaluation: All assignments must be completed and submitted on time and with a score of 60% or higher. If an assignment does not meet the 60% requirement, it is the learner’s responsibility to revise according to instructor feedback and resubmit before the due date. Those that successfully complete the assignments after due date will loose 5% per day late.
